I was on the panel for the Mental Health workshop. I spent two hours in the PI booth at Oyster Run and had a blast. I had a Finance Committee in Seattle. and then it was Assembly. On Sunday, I am doing a group inventory for Coupeville-Tapevine. It has been pretty quiet since Assembly. I am speaking on Orcas on November 2, at the Eastsound Group. |
![]() Welcome to the District 46 DCM newsworthy page. For starters we are posting the motions we will discuss for the 2019 Assembly. Click HERE for background information on these motions. Click HERE for a single page copy of the motions. ![]() It has been both a privilege and a labor of love to be your web servant for the past couple of years. I remember inheriting it at a time when there was no one left to walk me through the various challenges of developing a site. As with so much that is AA, we learn and grow through practice and that is what I've tried to do in this particular service position. The District has always been supportive and forgiving of my shortcomings and for that, I am truly grateful. I'll miss this gig, but I know the District will be well served by our incoming web servant, JC. Thanks for the opportunity to give back to a group and a district and a program that has given me so much, for free and for fun. It's been a blast. DMJ
![]() Work has intruded on my finely laid plans and I'm unable to transition the site to WordPress at this point in time. The site will continue to be updated, but the changeover won't happen until fall. ![]() Once upon a time, I made some rash statements about changing over, perhaps, to WordPress. The idea was to cut costs and increase our ability to provide a better, more usable web site. I'm running out of excuses and it looks like March/April is the time frame for migrating over. If you have any suggestions for what might make a better site, drop me a line at [email protected] or hit the Contact Us! page and let me know there. Thanks!! ![]() After quite some time on our end of things, the District 46 schedule has been uploaded to the Area 72 website. CLICK HERE OR ON THE PICTURE TO GO THE ONLINE SCHEDULE This new format has been the brainchild of a few, super-dedicated volunteers at the Area level, who took it upon themselves to finally construct a usable and user-friendly site. If you find any errors, please mail us at [email protected] and let us know. Or hop on over to the "Contact Us" page and use the online form.
